Abstract

In this paper, we suggest an interesting project that can be assigned to students in the course “Machine Design” in order to stimulate their interest in the subject and develop their engineering insights. Material can be covered within one 50-min period if only statically determinate problems are considered. Statically indeterminate problems can be assigned as a project.
