N2 - Page 1661 and Supporting Information. The 11B NMR chemical shift of compound 8 was reported incorrectly. The genuine 11B NMR signal for 8 is a broad singlet at δ -6.7 ppm instead of δ 0.3 ppm at room temperature. The 11B NMR chemical shift and resolution of the scalar 11B-1H coupling are temperature dependent. As expected, a doublet resonance signal at δ -8.4 ppm with 1JH-B = 80 Hz could be observed in the 1H-coupled 11B NMR spectrum at -80 °C. Correspondingly, the same coupling could be resolved as a 1:1:1:1 quartet in the 1H NMR spectrum at -80 °C and confirmed by a 1H,11B-HMQC NMR experiment. For the D2 cleavage product 8-d2, the broadened singlet of the DBPh3 anion appears at δ -7.8 ppm in the 11B NMR spectrum at room temperature. The corrected NMR spectra of compound 8 are provided as Figures S18a,b, S19, and S23a-d in the revised Supporting Information (Experimental Section). These corrections do not affect the conclusion of the Article.
