Abstract

This paper proposes a dynamic model of large symmetric power networks presented in s-domain and using the dq0 reference frame. The model is constructed for symmetric networks based on the network admittance matrix, and includes analytic expressions for the proper transfer functions. Further, based on the developed model we derive the observable state-space realization, which may contribute to stability analysis of large multi-machine power systems.
