N2 - In this document, we present the ethical guidelines of The integrated European Long-Term Ecosystem, Critical Zone, and Socio-Ecological Systems Research Infrastructure (eLTER RI), alongside an explanation of the policies and the administrative structure to implement the guidelines. The guidelines apply to the entire RI and its members, and, accompanying the eLTER RI Strategic Plan (Nikolaidis et al. 2021), it will provide a framework for guiding the RI and all of its research, observation, and administrative activities.
